Re Nigerian chain letter:- Not a good analogy.

CFR have been around a while with same MD for years.
No suggestion or hint of any scams etc.
Sure, they have been, & still are, a struggling junior explorer.
Right now there is a real chance that they will have positive cash flow in the near future & with a bit of luck with their prospects, could prove to be a succesful company overall.

Time will tell.
