I will be interested to see what effect, if any, Mr McArthur and Mr Burt have on the Board. I note that they have past involvement with Goldcorp, Kinross and Barrick (which are, of course, significant world-scale gold miners. Goldcorp was merged recently with Newmont). But I am not too pleased to see that Mr Burt was heavily involved with Deutsche Bank in the past; as their efforts over the past 15 years or so could not impress anyone.
