The idea is to undermine a country's notion of 'sovereignty'.
The classic case is Sweden, where you now have elected Swedish politicians promoting the view that Sweden historically never had any culture, that any culture it might have, originates from their new arrivals. If that seems like an absurdity to you (and to whom would it not appear an absurdity?), there's plenty of material you can research which establishes what has become of that country.
The question is, for whose benefit is all this being done?.....
