"UCG technology, which works by burning the black coal underground, producting clean energy and leave behind the Co2 gas trapped underground. Just have a few thoughts on this one, now that the co2 is supposely trap underground.

Does the gas change its CO2 form by reacting or used by other form of organism underground?

If it doesnt change its current CO2 form, does this somehow diffuse back out in to the surface if there is an earth movement (underground crack forming)?

Because this will surely defeat the whole purpose of clean coal technology if CO2 is not successfuly trapped after the process. Can some1 preferably in this field sheds some lights on this for me or forward me to the right direction.
