really a almost nothing announcement. considering how much I've bought into WMT lately I'm really not worried about the price drop today, just wish had waited orders a bit lower, but nvm.
can see how fast it recovered from low anyway, and new lines of buyers appear, so a drop and then upward momentum again might be helpful.

I agree the ann may well be a manipulation to get some shares on the cheap by friends of employees...
hence I will beware of more announcements coming soon chained together to start the price heading upwards.

the bounce off the resistance line last week wasnt a good sign, but it seems supported around 15c so should be ok. still no negative news, just people getting impatient and sensitive again.

its true perhaps other money to be made outside WMT, but could see a rise soon like that of BLR today. once again BLR is higher than WMT, heh.

by the way, its 2 weeks now that its been trading above the former closing price downward resistance line - ie its on a support line, which though it is falling, will prevent any rapid drop and will allow an easy bounce, perhaps like we saw today from 15.5c
