Capitalism has a rather large hole.
It has to keep expanding.
As a business accumulates capital it will reinvest and thereby increase its output of commodities. Problem.
It needs markets. Other companies or countries may control those other markets. War is the usual way to win new markets.
So far no solution has been found for capitalism to survive in a shrinking market scenario.
