Disclaimer: this is a honest question, not meant to down ramp ORE! I am a holder since 2015 at the $1.50 level and happy to hold. My target (since 2015) has been and still is $12. So happily holding, just not been posting on here a lot in the last year or so.
I have been wondering about the recent "short" attach on the lithium ASX stock accompanied (just like last year) by some BS report from one of the major analyst. This year its Morgan Stanley. But the ORE SP held very well during the first attack which I really liked to see. But now in the second wave, which may be caused more by Trump then MS, ORE did give in. But somehow it is reacting differently then the other (less mature) stocks. Maybe those were down already so much that they could not go much lower but I started thinking maybe it is something else.
One thing I did find were some rumors (and really nothing more then rumors) which despite spending a couple of hours googling I could not confirm. So I am skeptical about it but maybe someone knows this. The rumor I found was that there has been heavy rains in the Jujuy area and that consequently some Salars are even flooded, and this was accompanied by a picture (but could have been an old picture). Did go through a number of meteorological sites and tried to find the amount of rain (precipitation) in January/February. These are of course the two months with the most rain anyway so yes it has been raining a lot but I could not find anything "out of the ordinary".
So my question is if anyone else has some insight on how the weather has been like in January/February and if there really was much more rain then on average. Is our local
@puna.jujuy (or what was his name?) still posting here? If he is really local he should be able to tell us if it was really wet?
Anyway, if it was indeed extremely wet this may explain why the stock is going down a bit and differently then the other lithium stocks. Do not see it as a real issue as these were the wet months anyway and such "freaks of nature" can and will happen with the pond system. Nothing to worry about long term. Just interested as it would explain the SP behavior a bit better.
