Profit for the half should be safe enough, save for any imparement (that may or may not happen).
The real damage, in my opinion, is in the medium term, as the adverse publicity crimps the supply of new franchisees.
You could also wake up on morning to find a Parliamentary enquiry into franchising has been launched....who would know?
