LITTLEAL how much am I down…
Morning all - some background
Prior to CUS announcing (around Nov 06) it would take up a position in Fintronics the average daily SP for FIN in the preceding year bounced between 10c and 20c HKD$ a share Or AUD$ 3 cents ea. CUS allocated AUD$29.5MILLION for CUSASIA to take an effective 24% stake in shares and convert notes in Fintronics.
I felt it was a safe bet to look into this. But around Nov06 when news broke that CUS at AGM was taking a position in Fin the SP went from 30c to 40c in a short space of time so by the new year 07 it had already taken off.
I mentioned in one of my previous strings that I attended the CUS AGM in Nov 06 and spoke to G Baker re FIN to picked up what was unfolding. Maybe you were there…
I watched FIN between the last week of JAN and FEB07 1.5bil shares change hands. It was certainly being hotly traded.
I was slow to act in sorting out my Overseas trading account so by early Feb 07 the SP had already topped 45-50c. Thats when I took up my initial position of 500k shares at around 45c to 50c per share or AUD$ 0.06 to 0.07 cents each. Sounded chaep.
Proud of my new purchase I sat back and watched it double as it bumped HKD$ 87c by JUNE four months later but by end 07 it was back down to HKD$ 30c. I know I hear you say why didn’t I sell… either stupidity or passionate - not both…
Since then late last year I picked up another 500k shares at HKD$ 29c. It has since lost more ground and been trading around 15c to 20c a share.
It was only this month on the 19th that I saw a decent buy order go through for 22mil shares. FIN is currently trading around HKD$ 16c a share.
So to answer your question - it does owe me a bit but I also know CUS owes you and others. Lets hope we are both right just hold on I suppose.
Heres hoping we ALL do well… Does that answer it LETTLEAL
At least I can monitor FIN activity for everyone…
