Even a new offtake agreement, at nickel market prices, is not enough since MBN is producing nickel concentrate at over US$9.00 lb, and nickel for delivery in the last three months fell 0.4% to $15,145 a ton in London Thursday, the lowest since march 3, '14 or US$6.86 per pound.
MBN needs to cut production costs immediately in order to turn a profit.
