    This is why the model fails. SWF and their clients' interests aren't aligned. Interest should be passed on to clients and it seems unethical that it isn't. However SWF's whole business case depends on them pocketing the interest on client balances. If you have larger cash holdings you can buy AAA or the like and then sell back out when you need funds to by stock.
