A few thoughts from me on what works or doesn't for me:

- Bell Direct has a historically high volume report which shows stocks that are doing higher volume (gives you hint at potential insider trading or early knowledge perhaps)

- I just read announcements and see what good news comes out, but say the company won't start drilling or brig results out for a month.

- I just read HC and other sites too

- I look for director purchases

I certainly don't get it right all the time, by a long shot.
I rode BCC from 5c to 17c and down again, plus a lot of other large rises but also make sill mistakes along the way and miss a lot of good opportunities by selling too early.
