As a voter in Indi and someone appalled by the dreadful performance of Sophie Mirabella I'm delighted that the good people oif Indi sent her a message and that it cost the Liberal Party about $2m+ [my estimate of the cost of all the ads, glossy mailouts, heavyweights visiting, external crews bussed in etc] to rescue her.
Of course, I kept you guys informed along the way, even though my comments were rubbished on this forum.
The only thing that will make me shed tears is the massive environmental damage and social division that will flow should Abbott fully implement his vindictive right wing agenda.
As for giving it up; hahahahahaahahahahahaha; that's not in my DNA!
Over the years I've received 'ghecko awards' for hanging in there against all the odds - I may lose skirmishes but I'm too focussed on the longer term and bigger picture to let myopia upset my applecart.
