The bigger story here is not the fact that Pacific Island nations' fishing industries are going out of business, but that Tuna and other species of fish are being harvested far quicker than they can reproduce threatening their survival in the wild.
As time passes and the Chinese and others increase their fishing operations across the Pacific it becomes clearer and clearer that fish farming is the only sustainable option going forward.
Current rates of fishing severely threaten wild fish stocks, but the rate of fishing will only increase as China and other countries step up their fishing activities to unprecedented levels in coming years.
If CSS can achieve profitability in the Kingfish business and then restart their Southern Bluefin Tuna propagation program and make a success of it then the market opportunity for them will be enormous.
