If it's not the GGE/GGP well in Assumption Parish being operated by Mantle Oil & Gas that blew out then it would be a remarkable coincidence. The GGE/GGP ann states it happened at 3:45am Houston time, the news article states it was between 3-3:30 am on the same morning.
They are about 16 hours behind us, not sure if they have daylight savings.
