Here is my "best guess" on what happened over last few weeks (theory only of course);

Operational updates from TAM re needs for raising cash ("considering their options on how to raise that cash) spooks some investors into considering the possibility TAM would sell on market again as they did in 2012. With 78mill shares overhang, one significant holder decides to front run the selling ahead of TAM.
Another significant seller sees this and decides to do the same possibly even thinking that the first seller is TAM.
They compete to sell stock ahead of each other (capping the price) rather than sell in a controlled manner which could have allowed the sp to rise as they sold.

ABU arranges a crossing to clear TAM who obviously did want to sell but did not sell on market after all.

Overhang gone. Price reaction over next few days might shine a light on my theory being about right or not.
