re: engin or netcomm???? I have had VOIP with engin, voipbusters, sipphone and a few others.

I can tell you the sound quality with some companies is very poor - voipbuster,
very average - sipphone plan 9
not so bad - sipphone plan 6
very good - engin (You dont even know it is there)

I can tell you that my phone bill was about $130 per month, and on engin it is about $40 per month.

I have had engin VOIP for 9 months, at a saving of $90 per month what more can you ask for?

Yes ther is a fee per month, but you get all bar $5 back in free phone calls. (the $40 per month is inclusive of the fee)

You use your own phone (I have a cordless), and your computer does not have to be on.

What do I think of VOIP - I love it. What does my wife think? She does not notice it is there.

If you have broardband and you have not got VOIP get it. You WILL save a stack of money.
