Reuters is reporting that Mexican officials say that the country is over the worst of its swine flu and that the epicenter of the current outbreak, Mexico City will return to normal activity later this week.
WHO is reporting about 880 cases worldwide with about 25% of that number in the USA. US death rate remains at ONE.
Better luck on the Kentucky Derby for the bookies when a 50-1 outsider won. I suspect that the mob hysteria on BTA will now calm down. U.S. biopharmas advertize their products like crazy so expect lots of bullish stuff out of GSK as they market relenza. Should help BTA in the longer run but the fizz is rapidly fading from this current bout of swine flu mania.
