I have heard through the grapevine that some of the larger property trusts were actually running the ruler over VPG and to ward them off the company took the 200 million placement?

I would have preferred to have seen them taken out. The only people benefiting are the directors and management. The placement has had a very negative affect on the share price and doesn't look like it will stop them being taken over.
