If you are a Minion for a BP, you can intra day trade a few million shares and drop a few K in the afternoon to keep a lid on the multiples you will have to pay. Lowering the expectations. Raising the doubt. Increasing the BP RTI. Reducing the payback period.
Makes sense to me.
If the is is correct, it validates IMM keeping the options open to remain self funded and independent. Here comes the competitive tension!
