Considering where PRR was after failure of Cvac - basically on the canvas and no other drug candidates in the pipeline, had it not been for Marc (vision or desperation) we would not be having any discussions about Immutep today.

Marc did a great job convincing Fred, Lucy, directors and financiers to support acquisition of Immutep.

However, Marc is from a finance background and Fred is the King of Lag3. Whats missing is an entrepreneur who has vision and a story to tell. A chairman and CEO with charisma and track record of successes who can also attract other high calibre professionals with diverse skills to grow a global business based on clear strategic goals.

If Immutep is to become a successful long term biotech business it must articulate its strategy and engage quality executives who believe in that vision.

Marc would make a great CFO in any restructure.
Paul Hopper would be a great chairman

If our strategy is a pure play Lag-3 business we should look at developing other Lag-3 or related products including ICI's.

Efti is an adjuvant and therefore will never be the 'bride'.
And that's ok but we should be trying to develop one.
