$85k before the TAX MAN has his way for a man raising a family with a house payment is hardly an awfull lot.
If the family household is pulling in excess of $125k PA gross they will be struggling with the cost of living.
This is how the good old USA went down, they shipped all their manufacturing to china/india and now they are toasted.
In the US if you have a problem with your cable TV you get an indian that you cant understand to help you.
Its called corporate greed
