Thats the roll of the dice, there's good paying jobs and not so good paying jobs.
Landscape Gardners, Cabinet makers, Motor mechanics, Chefs etc... trade qualified... crap money.
Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters.. etc... good money.
I once worked as a forklift driver in a Coles warehouse and earned $40ph on a 4 day/38hr week. I could have gone somewhere else and done the same job for $18ph. Luck plays a big part in getting good jobs. I say good luck to them, get as much as you can for as long as you can. You never know whats around the corner.
