just to put a balance in here - I wonder how many people are happy with a good service p/f.
I have never considered something like this - but I do have 2 close contacts who have had work done - very expensive work in australia and had it done in Thailand - they are extremely pleased with the work. The only thing I can say is that the work looks really good.
On the other hand I have a mate in Hobart who got work done there and has had no end of trouble.
So what do we work out from that???
I would say that you get good ones and bad ones - wherever you are.
My personal experience in Australia cuts both ways - good and bad. So imo it doesn't make a lot of difference in the end. If I had solid recommendations, I would investigate any proposal.
