As a former Member of disallowed, I believe the institutions interested in this stock would have digested the likely benefits of the N A Williams deal while you were having your morning cuppa! They can be a little slow to cotton on to stocks such as GSW but an insto with a slant towards the high growth (read high risk)end of the market would have had this stock on it's radar since the float. The underwriters of the issue would have alerted it's insto clients to the stock. These companies would have taken a holding in the float and possibly added on the way up. The mores conservative brokers have probably not shown much interest in GSW to date. These will come up with "Buy-overweight at$9" or even higher as is often he case.
