There was a huge jump after the deal was announced. The usual drop-off occurred over the last week and a half as people took some profits; this in turned scared off some with weak intestinal fortitude who sold out, perhaps even at a small loss.
The biggest talk amongst those who were interested but still wary was execution risk. Perhaps they've had a week or so to think it through and think the risk/reward ration is skewed strongly in the second half. Perhaps the SeekingAlpha article has increased interest. Perhaps a combination thereof or none of these things. It's all just speculation at the end of the day.
As long as the red line is moving north east more often than not and it's backed up by fundamentals I guess it don't really matter.
