IN A BURST OF ENTHUSIASIM rare by even by Australian goldfields standards he optimistically said that Avoca was "on track to achieve production at Higginsville during the second half of the year", adding with even more optimism that Avoca had made a "very significant discovery" that vindicated the belief that the area had the potential "to yield major new deeper gold discoveries"
