I did raised this possibility in a previous post. But, because of all the pressure from shareholders (email and phone messages from hc members), mgt has no choice but to issue whatever data they have. This may explain the lack of assay results despite the many samples collected. Interestingly, the assays were 1000ppm, an average grade of producing mines. Not too low to kill off interest and not too high to attract competition.
The additional tenements could also suggest that they believe U has migrated elsewhere.
