I think it clutching at straws to think the Rio incident will have any impact on Chinese pursuing their interest in Nufarm...Yellowcake is spot on with his posting....the current SP is already trading at a low multiple with most tipping it as a buy/strong buy at $9.
If you were ever going to have a crack at a company with the growth potential of Nufarm it would be now IMO!
Only way the price will hit low $8 is if the general markets fall back to March lows.
Selling pressure has certainly eased with not that much volume traded today/Friday vs what has happened in the past 3 weeks. Really no further catalyst until takeover approach confirmation or FY earnings release where a number of analysts have speculated they might end up suprising on the upside.
