it is pure speculation by you to say that this is a sinking ship.

there is plenty of negative sentiment - granted. If the board has failed to notify the market of 'problems' that would amount to a sinking ship then I guess I would be really worried if I was them. Something called directors responsibilities comes to mind. Liabilities rest with them.

The way I see it is this:

AAM is travelling along as expected. Nothing to report that is different to prior statements in September, October and November.

AAM management are not communicating the situation (i.e. no change as previously stated) with the shareholders

AAM shareprice is suffering from lack of communication (and the negative perceptions that this brings), anxiety about the operation (debt creditors), the fall in share price and the lack of clear strategic direction.

Message to Directors

1) Talk with shareloders through regular updates (even if it is restating status quo)
2) Develop strategic direction (business plan) for company, put timeframes to it and communicate this with shareholders(mining, exploration, acquisition)
3) Communicate the board structure with shareholders (i.e. who does what and how does it link in with strategy)
4) Clearly show the market that Directors believe in the company (buy shares on market)
5) Lobby brokers to reverse negative sentiment. USe business plan/ strategic vision combined with project economics to demonstrate why AAM is the goods.

If management can't or won't do this then I guess we can only expect more of the same (in terms of shareprice)
