Yes... I once held COF, I think it was the first stock I bought after experienced brainy investors told me it is great because "it pays a dividend and is fully franked". I often get frustrated when this plays on people as it clouds judgement. COF was $3.80 or so then, hit $4.50 (with the bull run) and has been below that. I just have resorted to the fact that there are far better stocks out there to make money out of. If you buy COF for other reasons than making money, i.e. like the way it sounds, like seeing the letters together, or like the products/services, then yes, I see it's value.
