There is a huge amount on energy used in mining uranium, let alone refining. We often see the comparison of energy produced by weight of the fuel for things like coal and wood compared to refined nuclear fuel as being in the thousands but you have to dig up thousands times more in the first place to get that efficiency which is false.
It's also false to compare the imbedded energy of a renewable system with fossil and nuclear without also including the energy used to supply the fuel for the latter.
The hi tech nature and safety aspects of nuclear also increase the imbedded energy. Then you have the relatively
short life, very long period to unwind after shut down and transport and storage of waste.
