This is great news. With over 40% of global uranium production being from Kazakhstan and a state-run company it is very possible that they will act as a swing producer. Kazakhstan can now voluntarily decrease uranium production in order to artificially increase uranium prices rather than be forced to decrease production as a response to low prices which most miners have been doing.
