Without any exploration going on, the only things of importance to announce are the Ore Reserve and FML.
Hence the silence.
IMO, Glencore would tolerate a mine being built on Stage 1, but if a decision to mine Stage 2 was given the thumbs up then that would be the time for them to strike.
They would also be hoping that the worker bee has done all the hard yards on exploring Stage 3 by then.
A fourth party would have a struggle to get Glencore, BlackRock and Appian to agree to a takeover at this stage of development.
I agree with philh9, a takeover is not likely until Stage 2 (PB) is proven.
