I don't have the level of experience that you have with project management but in a former life I was a builder of my own home. I have built a 4 bedroom home, with an innovative modular design (which therefore required massive over engineering) in 13 weeks. A small 4 man team plus myself.
In AVB we are dealing with mining industry professionals who have built mines before and know what they are contemplating (which we don't). So when they say they are on track at this point in the process I will be believing them. Precisely because of their one major short coming (no PR) some feel like mushrooms and others are making outrageous claims to have a better view of the project than the people running the project! They obviously know more than us and I will continue to agitate for greater sharing with share holders of progress etc but I re-iterate....they have not said anything other than "on track" at this point.
Unfortunately I was "off track" in the closing auction, on a phone call so missed the action, had meant to clean up that juicy 9.3c line...oh well, always tomorrow.
PS Is that the lowest volume day ever?
