That's not really what the placement exclusion was. ASX rules preclude foreign entities from taking more than a 20% stake in ASX listed companies without being compulsorily required to make a takeover offer. So Kirkland could take us over. Interestingly enough once they list here I am not sure if that means they could lift their stake without having to launch a TO
