If my my instinct is correct it was done to get an effect... it has a amateurish flavour about it.
The auction sell down was mild which would have pissed them....
So now they could be hoping having punctured the strong consolidation support at the 1.6¢ level that there will be follow through on Monday ...but they might be disappointed as its looking like a very amateurish attempt at sabotage.
Personally I dont think they will get their desired outcome
