Sorry to flog a dead horse guys, but, one of the things I noticed when reading that sob story was, no thought at any point for anyone else, it read, me, me, me, me.
The other point I'd just like to touch on is, from my recollection of events, as far as timing went, we were all in the dark, who should get a 'Margin Call'??? I assume the message was, the wheel is coming off very soon, save what you can.
Im sure the real info was only for a select few. Whats the name for that. I'm not sure of how you or I may have reacted at that stage but if we had the same information from the top, at least we could have been able to react.
I still cant believe this story, but having been there what I cant believe is that there was not an investigation of the relevant events, not just the fact that there was an issue with the type of loans.
