I'm guessing it's business as usual, Uruguay has not been mentioned in the media as a country banned to export packaged beef.
The import ban applied by China and the EU was for packaged meat not live cattle from what I've read, what's more, this issue was more to do with beef that was off, not diseased?
This is a positive for live cattle as a disease can be routinely identified through tests if cattle are living.
