Property bought at the right price is agreat investment over time,and I mean years not months.I havent purchased any property since 1996 as the prices in capital cities appall me but prices continue to rise with slight dips .The future who knows but it has never been harder than now,once the rule of thumb in granting a housing loans hould be no more than three and ahalf times the main breadwinners salary ,now people are borrowing seven and eight times ,some young peoples loans are so hugh if ever a big depression hits there will be much blood in the water.
