The serious commentators in the gold space always refer to the share price leverage that is gained from gold price rises.
For example, if the profit margin is $1,000 per ounce at a $2,000 gold price every $1,000 gold price rise is 100% more profit. $2,000 to $3,000 gold price rise is 50% growth but 100% profit margin rise. $3,000 to $4,000 gold price rise is 33% price rise and 100% margin rise, and so on.
Like GBBS writes, if you’re invested in a good business don’t worry too much share price falls.
