Hello Im new to gold investing but am taking a serious look now.
No doubt this has been discussed many times but perhaps an update is due.
I own gold stocks like Centamin and Petropavlovska. What about physical gold?
I dropped into the Cape Town gold exchange today to buy some krugerrands. It was worth it just for the experience. A labrynthine building of stairwells, vaults, dead ends, barred doors and patrolling guardians.
I asked the lady behind the iron bars what the procedure was. She said with a grin "you give me money I give you gold". Cash only at the front desk so I walked away empty handed.
Perhaps my very presence in the building indicates interest in physical gold from people who would not previously know anything about it.
What recommendations do you guys have on how to buy, trade and store physical?
