So is Oxford PV and its partners aware of the patent?
Regardless of what they do will it be up to them making a deal with Greatcell before they can manufacture anything?
If this is the case Greatcell has got the bases covered and I look forward to the day when the press understand Greatcell holds so many cards.
RC did say Oxford PV were focussing on tandem cells as it presented a way to attract funding from existing silicon cell manufacturers. Those manufactures might be able to increase the efficiency of their product making tandem cells in order to remain competitive and not throw away their significant investment in their manufacturing infrastructure.
RC also went on to explain that in terms of ROI, if you were setting up from scratch a PSC only approach was much more feasible and financially attractive.
