I think an acquirer may be building a stake.

But i'd be very very surprised if anything was announced/tendered within the next 3 months.

Asset managers can create things out of nothing. Put a bit of early volume through a well known TO target earli morning on what should be a down day and wellaaaaaaaaaa, you have a rumour going and some TO buying.

Not hard.

One day its ZFX. The next OXR. Next week it'll be EQN, then maybe PNA.

Then in 3 weeks, the cycle will begin. ZFX first, OXR second....

But ill pay that. The volume were high so an acquirer may have done some buying. But once there is any suspicious buying on one of the above co's, traders and speculators will take over.

I think we clearly saw that today.
