    i agree with much of what you say - however, i believe we will look back at this period as a mad asset grab precipitated by the need for entities from or suppliers to mainly china, india and russia to lock in resource supply - this will distort normal timeframes. the more china talks about intervention in bhp-rio issue the greater the rush for other resources.
