Glencore wa founded by a famous commodities trader named Marc Rich.

He was famously pardoned by Bill Clinton in his final days in Office in 2000.

The US were previously after him for tax evasion. He fled the US in the 70's i went to Switzerland.

He continues to live in Switzerland, is worth billions and has a lot of political influence across Europe.

Rumour has it that when the FBI tracked him down in Switzerland in the 80's, they were told by the local police that if they touch him, every one of the agents would be arrested and locked up.
