I do not believe that there is any plan for a sort of combined Phase 3 trial, and I am not sure that such a thing is even possible.
BSW may be correct that there could be some economies achieved if the trials are coordinated in some way, but there is no way that you could get two for the price of one. The savings are primarily to be realized in the commonality of the planning and similar structure of the trials, and that is something that has already largely been accomplished, as I understand the release.
