And that was my overall point, folks. I remember things like Peptide and others too numerous to mention. These things don't sit there with no volume then spike massively on an announcement. There is such a huge transfer of knowledge of pending happenings via the internet these days that if the suggested massive change to the SP were even hinted at there would be speculators climbing all over it and happy to wait.

If we take a hypothetical SP scenario of even $2 with the cellucreme announcement, the traders aren't going to be patiently waiting for an announcement then bumping the SP overnight; they would already have it at $1 and playing games with that. I'm sorry, but something doesn't add up here based on my observations over 20 years. I fully understand the games that get played in high risk/high reward stocks. I am not a newbie and to be accused of behaving like one is fairly offensive for a retiree.

My ramblings about the 9.9c mystery were not designed to suggest a conspiracy, however they may have come across that way. Quite simply, if there is money there to be made short medium or long term, someone will take the opportunity, and that is how it should be. If there were huge demand for future potential, there would be scrambling such as would light a moderate fire under the SP. Then the daytraders would jump in, half of them as usual not having a clue what the whole hue and cry is about, let alone understand the science. They don't care about the science, just making short term profits.

So I'm still sitting here scratching my head wondering why the SP is hovering between 9.5 and 9.9c with virtually zero volume. Sorry, it just doesn't make any sense to me. Even the run to 16c and back had some volume behind it.

Now have a look at the depth of POH as we approach open today. Around $20K wanted to buy between 9.2 and 9.9c divided among eight buyers. Thrilling stuff. I know it's always pointless speculating why people are buying or selling at any level. It usually comes down to a very simple story; people expect to make a bit of quick money or have decided there is no quick money left to be made so sell and go looking for greener pastures. With the piggy bank figures involved I don't see either of those groups reppresented in the current depth. Any one of us could take out the buy and sell figures within 1c of 10c without doing any damage. So what the bloody hell is going on?

I'm basically being told to be patient. I believe I've demonstrated in my posting history here that I'm not in any hurry, and I'm personally being acquainted with the holders of about ten mill of these shares.

In my time I've watched the tech boom unfold, watched Melbourne IT, Davnet etc, I remember the chat room on HotCopper exploding into action at 9.45am each day filled with kids who had not a clue about anything as long as it had dot.com after it. I remember stupidly trying to breathe an air of reality into it when nobody wanted to know. What's the law of 20?? This time it's different, etc etc. Besides, what's a balance sheet?

I don't know how many of those kids lost their daddy's five thousand and went back to school. I remember when the taxi driver always had a hot tip... "get on it, they reckon this will be a million bucks in three months"........ Most of them are still driving taxis and telling everyone the share market is dangerous.

Most of all, the greatest piece of knowledge I have weaned over the years is that any fool can buy, the trick is in knowing when to sell.

Oddly enough, I can't see any reason to do either at this stage.
