Anglo American adopts disciplined approach to iron ore, expansions

UK-listed miner Anglo American does not plan to crank up production at already oversupplied markets and risk jeopardising prices, its ceo told investors on Tuesday December 9.
This applies across the company’s operations, including iron ore, which has seen increased supply help cause prices to almost halve this year.
Mark Cutifani said that while Anglo American has the potential to produce more at various of its divisions, the company has a "fundamental belief in being disciplined and not destroying the underlying prices of our products.
