and yet the OECD wants the govt to cut red tape and over regulation to stimulate investment ... what would they know:-Australia's economy grew by 0.2 per cent in the March quarter, and 1.3 per cent through the year, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
It means quarterly economic growth slowed in the first three months of the year, from 0.6 per cent at the end of 2024, and missed expectations.
"Public spending recorded the largest detraction from growth since the September quarter 2017," said ABS head of national accounts Katherine Keenan.
